I’ve been practicing Graphic Design in the field now for over ten years. I’ve built websites. I’ve conceived and developed brand standards for various companies. I’ve filmed, edited, and produced promotional videos. Here’s a small sample.

Graphic and Web Designer for Bio-Techne

Dates Employed | 2015 – 2021

I designed and developed web pages within Drupal framework utilizing Dreamweaver on all our older legacy pages. I created tradeshow material with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign including trade show booths, t-shirts, and custom touchscreen presentations utilizing Intuiface. I also built out many emails and trained multiple people in Marketo for eblasts. Custom HTML and CSS requests for web pages were common, even XML for certain requests. I developed promotional material for social media as well as plenty of digital imagery.

We Spark Growth  |  2014 – 2015

We Spark Growth is a great little company with a huge presence. We help small businesses get to where they want to be. We build websites, design and send newsletters, manage accounts; and pretty much provide all your back-end office needs. Below is some of the work I performed for our affiliates and clients.

AdviCoach was one of our affiliates. I provided design support, ranging from email newsletters and layout requirements to graphic needs and website updates.

The Christine Center

The Christine Center is a peaceful place in Willard, Wisconsin where people go to get away for a bit. I performed a healthy amount of content creation as well as built about half the website for The Christine Center.

Good Karma Skincare

Good Karma Skincare is a company that cares about it’s customers and the planet. I created a lot of content for them. It required image manipulation, web design, web content, print design, publication design, P.O.P design, trade-show design, and a lot more.

More Than A Beautiful Home

More Than a Beautiful Home focuses on making your home more environmentally friendly while keeping your budget in line. I built MTBH’s website from the ground up, transitioned their blog to a new website and domain, and performed extensive web & print design for them.

National Association of Women Business Owners – Minnesota Chapter

NAWBO-MN is an organization that helps to advance women in business, I managed their print collateral, updated their website, designed and built their e-newsletters and much more.

QC Dance

QC Dance is a dance studio in Blaine. They needed a new website and logo and they came to us for a solution. I redesigned their website with the help of Evolve Systems and re-imagined their brand.

Their website isn’t live yet but check back soon below.

Sundance does exteriors, I did their website. Take a look below.

We Spark Growth

Last but not least I did a lot of work for our own company as well. Content creation, web design & build, print production, and much more.

Everything Promotions  |  2013 – 2014

These guys have some big name clients! I got to design for Uber, Renter’s Warehouse and Cowboy Jacks just to name a few. They’re also super cool guys with positive attitudes. Unfortunately I’m not going to be able to display all the work I did for them due to the fact that some of these big gun clients don’t want their material to be public. But! I will show you what I can.

Cowboy Jacks

Cowboy Jacks was nice enough to let us show off the work we’ve done for them. They also have a mean happy hour.

Rebranding Possibilities

While working for Everything Promotions we experimented with several rebranding options. None of them stuck but they were kind enough to let me show off some of my ideation.

Budget Marketing Solutions  |  2013

These guys have a good thing going, they’re a print shop located in NE Minneapolis but they do a lot more than just print things. They brought me on as a Graphic Designer to assist their lead designer in 2013. BMS works with a lot of local businesses. They do everything; channel lettering, storefront signage, large format printing, brochures, you name it. It was a great experience working with BMS.

Diagnostic Group LLC  |  2012 – 2013

My first real design job after four years in college was as a Graphic Design Specialist with Diagnostic Group LLC. The Group, as I started calling them, consisted of five separate companies that all made audiometer equipment. My work was mostly for two of these companies, Maico Diagnostics and Interacoustics. I will admit, it was pretty exciting to see a dual-monitor setup walking in on my first day, and I had all the programs any designer could ask for. I believe these pieces demonstrate my ability to aesthetically layout and design marketing collateral while adhering to brand standards and best practices.

I also filmed, edited, and produced an instructional series for the Maico MA25 Audiometer:

H&H Marketing  |  2012

My first taste of the “real world” in the design field was as a Graphic Design Intern for H&H Marketing. They’re a small, fun company in Burnsville, MN. They had me doing graphic design work for all sorts of business. See for yourself!
